Circle S studio, a marketing and design firm located in Richmond that specializes in logos, websites, brochures and advertising, announced a wave of recent hires.

Denton Freeman has been hired as a creative strategist and copywriter. She launched the accessory-design firm Poesis, which features a popular line of high-end handbags. Liz Loudy has been hired as a junior copywriter.

Jordan McConnel joined the company as account coordinator, and Patty Riester has been hired as an accountant.

The company also made several promotions. Alana Kucharski and Kristy May were promoted to senior designers. Kucharski focuses on interactive campaigns, while May focuses on print. Libbie Hiner has been promoted to account executive.
